瘦客户端通常指B/S结构的应用，客户端只有IE等浏览器（瘦），程序逻辑、计算多封装在服务器端。
相对而言就是胖客户端，客户端通常是一个EXE，它完成数据库连接、客户逻辑处理，等等相对较多的计算。
rich media通常是说网页，多种形式的文件集中在一起，文字、图片、声音、视频，等等。
